Reversi can display some helpful highlights during a game, be it a Classic Reversi or a Reverse Reversi.
Highlight playable tiles
Reversi can first highlight the tiles that can be played by the current player. This information could be quite useful for beginners notably, for learning the game.
This can be activated both in a game against the computer and in a two-player game. There is no way for only enabling this highlight for one of the players of a two-player game.
To enable or disable this highlight, press the menu button in the top-right corner of the window, select Appearance, and in the Highlights section select Playable tiles.
Highlight capturable tiles
Reversi can also highlight the tiles that would be captured by a given play. That might help for having a better visualisation of what the board would then look like.
This can be activated both in a game against the computer and in a two-player game. There is no way for only enabling this highlight for one of the players of a two-player game.
To enable or disable this highlight, press the menu button in the top-right corner of the window, select Appearance, and in the Highlights section select Capturable tiles.
